Warm it Up Chris Question of the Episode
I really thought that this would be a fun Warm it Up Chris question. Jonathan really made this one painful. I kind of felt bad for him...well kind of. I will be honest, I really loved this one. And I really had fun listening to Jonathan struggle. It was awesome. #justsaying
- The Simpsons
- The Flintstones
- Looney Tunes

- South Park
So after all that fun, let's get the warfare on!!
Q: In what country did the Boxer Rebellion occur?
Really good discussion from Jonathan on this. I still cannot believe I missed this question. I saw a documentary on the Boxer Rebellion. I should have known this!!
Q: Norfolk Giant and Newbury are varieties of what kind of fruit?
OK, well just one more clip of a bunch of clips and that is it.
Q: How many types of chess pieces are in a standard set?
A: 6. Pawns, rooks, knights, bishops, queen, and king
So after the first round Jonathan is up 30 to 20.
Q: Who was the first SNL cast member to be born after the show’s debut?
A: Kenan Thompson 1978
Q: What is the name of Othello’s wife in the play, Othello?
Q: German measles are also known as what?
After two rounds Jonathan is still up 40 to 10. And Jonathan is starting to talk about doubling me up...sigh.
Q: Who played the lead role in Lawrence of Arabia?
A: Peter O’Toole
Q: Neil Tennant is the singer of what British new wave band?
A: Pet Shop Boys
Q: What is the world’s longest mountain chain?
A: The Andes Mountains
Q: Name 4 out of the 5 IAU recognized dwarf planets in our solar system.
A: Pluto, Eris, Ceres, Makemake, and Haumea
After Midpoint, Jonathan is going strong 55 to 20.
Q: Laurence Tureaud is the birth name for what actor?
A: Mr. T
Q: The Egyptian god Anubis is depicted with the head of what animal?

Q: What is the scientific term for -273.15 degrees Celsius?
A: Absolute Zero
Q: Within 2 years either way, what year was Nelson Mandela released from prison?
Q: A swami is a religious leader in what faith?
Q: What movie had the tagline, “Does for Rock n Roll what The Sound of Music did for hills”?
A: This is Spinal Tap
Here is the movie poster...the actually tagline was "Does for sex, drugs and rock n' roll what Sound of Music did for Hills". So Carmela was a little off...but I would not have gotten this answer no matter what!
Q: What prime time television show was the first to have an openly gay character?
A: Soap in 1977. Jodie Dallas played by Billy Crystal
So Jonathan mentioned LA Law during his answer. LA Law does have the honor of being the first show on TV to televise a lesbian kiss. But, Jonathan still got this question wrong.
By the way I did find out that LA Law's first season (I am not sure if there are any other seasons) are on YouTube. I already watched the first episode. Still pretty good.
Q: Which athlete has appeared the most times on a Wheaties box?
A: Michael Jordan. He’s appeared 18 times
Q: The process of converting rubber into a more durable material is known as what?
Going in to the final question, Jonathan is still owning me (and will bet zero...I just know it) with the score 115 to 80.
Q: Put these countries in order, greatest to least, by their number of World Cup wins: Uruguay, Brazil, The Netherlands, and Germany.
A: Brazil (5), Germany (4), Uruguay (2), The Netherlands (0), but they have been the runner up 3 times!)
So, yes my friends, it is another win for Jonathan. Sigh. I am so sorry everyone. I let you down. The hero does not win every time. Well at least this hero does not. Another winning streak has been started...can Jonathan be stopped again?? Who will rise up against him?? Who???
So that was another amazing episode of Trivial Warfare. I hope you all enjoyed it. If you did enjoy it, become a Warhead at TrivialWarfare.com. You can get in touch with Jonathan at TrivialWarfare@gmail.com or in touch with Chris at WarmitUpChris@yahoo.com.
Until next time, this is Chris and this is Trivial Warfare's show notes where it is not just trivia, it is war.
OUTTAKES: If you look at the picture that Jonathan created for the show notes and for the show you will see the coloring book I was talking about in the movie Spaceballs. Can you see Optimus Prime on the coloring book?? I can.
