This is the real film that they were showing kids in the 50’s. That’s very striking to me because it means that my parents were literally shown this in their school houses. I think we’ve all made fun of the concept of Duck and Cover at some point, but they didn’t dance around the issue here. It’s actually a pretty good message with all things considered.
