This week we introduce our friend Carmela on the show. She’s stepping in to do some guest hosting for us and at the same time “bring a little class to the joint,” as Chris would say. Speaking of Chris, be sure to listen for his epic meltdown near the end of the show. It’s a thing of beauty.
Don’t forget to head over to www.trivialwarfare.com and sign up for the Trivial Warfare Army to get in on the show news for insiders. Also remember to head over to iTunes and hit us up with a review.

Which Beatle was the first to release a solo album after the band’s breakup?
This is actually a bit of a controversial answer. Paul McCartney released the album “McCartney” a couple of days after he announced he was quitting the band, but there is some debate over when the actual “breakup” was. In other words, you could argue for Paul’s album if you wanted to but it’s generally accepted that it’s Harrison’s album “All Things Must Pass” that holds this distinction.
You also notice that Chris and I argued a little bit over who was the most prolific Beatle after the breakup. Chris was right, if you include the Wings albums McCartney out produces the others by a pretty good margin.

What is the Roman name of the Greek goddess Artemis?
So we both screwed this one up. It’s more frustrating to me as the guy who likes both mythology and comic books. Artemis is known as the hunter, the athletic and warlike opposite to Athena, the goddess of wisdom. Her Roman equivalent is Diana, which is also the inspiration for the superhero Wonder Woman. Diana is literally the name of her alter ego. That’s what led to the groans and references when we heard the answer. If we had thought of it from that angle either of us could have backed into a correct answer.
